At Allen Gun Works we are working towards being a full service firearms repair, maintenance and customizing centre. We have been around firearms our whole lives and have learned a lot along the way. We do not, by any means, consider ourselves to be gunsmiths YET. But we are working towards that goal.

 

There are many machining operations that we can accomplish at this time and will start to offer those in the coming months. With a lot of operations, it is not the ability holding us back, just the need for more tooling. For now, we feel confident in offering the following services on top of the retail side of our business:

 

- Bolt Knob Installation $35 Remington 700, $45 Savage

- Scope mounting and bore sighting

- Drill and tap for scope mounts

- Firearms cleaining

- Small firearms repairs and troubleshooting (on a case by case basis)

- Firearms refinishing (synthetic finishes and parkerizing to come in summer 2009)

- rebarrelling of Remington 700, including action truing and muzzle brake installs (by summer 2009)
